Shakers made from gourds ("gourd rattles") are some of the simplest and most beautiful of percussion instruments. We will infuse our gourds with intentions and adorn with meaningful elements. Wrapping up the artshop with a rattle bath to demonstrate clearing one's space for a solo or group ceremony.Most supplies are provided (natural paint pigment, leather scraps, beads). Bring featgers, charms or items to adorn your gourd.
