About this Event
Making a wreath using recycled tin and wire with artist Philippa Johnston
Have fun creating a wreath, or table decoration out of old biscuit tins and wire which can be enjoyed again and again. Traditional or contemporary, the choice is yours. We’ll be making our base out of soft black iron wire and then cutting up tins for decoration. You might like to opt for a traditional festive wreath with ivy and holly leaves, red berries and bow, or go contemporary with colourful flowers and wacky leaves.
All materials and tools will be supplied and examples will be on hand for inspiration along with flower and leaf templates but do bring along any of your own designs you’d like to use.
