Go down in history as part of the 100 years of Stoke on Trent.Crossways Residents Association are excited to announce that we will be working together with artist: Phil hardaker, to design our own wall art mosaic to hang in our community to represent our local area and stoke on Trent.
We are looking for children and adults to come and design a clay tile at our village show being held at St Andrews on September 13th between 3&5pm.
This unique design will then be fired and returned in 2 weeks time for you to then add paint and colour.
Our artist will then collaborate all of the art pieces to make a representative mural.
You could design it based on an invention founded in stoke or a famous celebrity or sports hero born and bred in stoke. It could be a company that started in Stoke or a picture of a local landmark. eg schools, forest park, wildlife around the park, or the church!
Sketch out a design no bigger than A5 and bring it along to transfer to a clay tile and be part of our final legacy to the community.
We look forward to seeing your ideas and helping you to bring them to life. It can be as simple or as detailed as you like
