Our Cream Tea Caper is finally back!!!Sunday 7th September 2025 at 10am
The Cream Tea Caper is back again!
A 7 hour timed event based in the stunning gardens of the Double Locks pub set in the gorgeous Riverside Valley Park in Exeter.
Please don't be put off by the 7 hour element, you don't have to run for the whole 7 hours if you don’t want to, it’s up to you how many laps you run. Each lap is 3.3 miles.
Run Solo or Run as a Relay Team ( teams of 2 to 4 runners, only one team member on the course at a time ).
How far will you run? 1 lap? 2 laps? Half Marathon? Marathon? Ultra? to claim your fantastic bespoke Cream Tea Caper Medal and individual Cream Tea in a box? ( consisting of a scone,miniture jar of strawberry jam & mini pot of clotted cream )

The route is a flat off road route on riverside paths, grass and gravel trails. Each loop is 3.3 miles, run as many laps as you like in 7 hours. You do not have to run for the whole 7 hours, you can even have breaks whenever you feel like it.
Our Race HQ is handily situated in the beautiful grounds of the Double Locks pub which is situated on the riverside, each lap you can visit our 'Jollification station' where water, squash, sweets, cakes and much more await you. We also provide vegan options.
Food & Drinks also available to purchase from the Double Locks pub.
