CRCLectures Presents Ian McNulty

It’s the topic we’re always talking about: New Orleans food and restaurants, what’s new, what’s, enduring, what’s next.
It’s a compulsion in New Orleans, and a key part of the city’s identity.
That’s the beat Ian McNulty covers for the Times Picayune/New Orleans Advocate.
Ian will discuss the trends influencing New Orleans restaurants now and in particular how traditional Louisiana seafood is changing, and he’ll also field your questions about the New Orleans restaurants scene.
Ian has been covering restaurants in New Orleans for more than 20 years, documenting their evolution through the Hurricane Katrina recovery and the many twists and turns since.
He’s a frequent commentator for WWL radio and WWNO radio, and appeared in the Netflix series “Street Food USA.” He is the author of “A Season of Night: New Orleans Life After Katrina” and “Louisiana Rambles: Exploring America's Cajun and Creole Heartland.”
Join us at the historic New Canal Lighthouse on the shore of Lake Pontchartrain!
The bimonthly lecture series was conceived of as a new way to connect with supporters of coastal restoration, one that is both fun and interesting. Speakers will address a variety of topics that may or may not be directly related to coastal restoration.
