An Intimate Lavish Lunch with Sandra Senn CEO of SA Mums In Business. As well as an amazing panel of women for a Live Q + A session.
About this Event

Around 1 in 6 women in Australia will experience depression. 1 in 3 women will experience anxiety during their lifetime, and 1 in 6 women will experience postpartum depression during their first year after birth.

Now more than ever we need to be having open and honest conversations, not just around around our Mental Health issues but also how to support the support person of someone going through Mental Health issues.

*Trigger Warning*

Sandra Senn, CEO and Owner of SA Mums In Business hid her Postpartum Depression from her friends and family for 4 months before it all became too much and she started planning her suicide.

You will be hearing all about Sandra's story and how her journey through Postpartum Depression was one of the best things to ever happen to her, all while enjoying a lavish long lunch, free flowing wine and a dessert bar of your dreams.

Our MC for the event is Hayley Lloyd - Founder and Chief Goldie Gal of Goldie Studio.

Hayley spent many years in the tanning and beauty industry and felt it was lacking somewhere special & exclusive. Goldie's mission is to empower you & celebrate all women, of all shapes and sizes from all over Adelaide. Hayley is very passionate about both positive Body Image and Mental Health.

We are also very lucky to have an amazing line up for our Live Q + A panel.

Sophie Bretag - Sophie is the Founder and CEO of Metta Leaders.

Sophie is a spiritual warrior and a strong female leader who lifts and mentors others. Sophie lives with high functioning anxiety but doesn't let that own her anymore, in fact it has shaped her into the person that she is today and allows her to help others. Sophie's purpose is to show people how they can be seen, heard and supported in workplaces.

Teagan Carpenter - Founder and CEO of Vintage Chef.

With three HUGE parts to her company (Meal Prep, Catering and a café) as well as three children, Teagan is definitely a busy mum. As a chef Teagan has a passion and understanding for cooking, and is committed to providing healthy and appetising food all over South Australia. Teagan is also a member on the 1 in 3 club (of women that will experience anxiety in their life) and understand that you sometimes need help and there is zero shame in that.

Danielle Baker - Founder and CEO of The Nurtured Village.

Danielle is a Clinical Psychotherapist and Therapeutic Play Practitioner. Whilst working directly with children and adolescents, The Nurtured Village also supports parents and caregivers. Healthy parents and caregivers leads to a healthy family. Not just physical health, but emotional health is incredibly important too. Often parents and caregivers feel stressed, overworked, judged and inadequate. Burnout and exhaustion are real, but without a community around to validate those feelings, many feel that pain is unique to them.
