🥾 Join us for a fresh morning walk along one of Northumberland’s most loved coastal routes 🥾 This 9.5k easy-moderate walk should take 2-3 hours allowing for photos and a snack break☕️ 🍪
Starting at the quaint village of Craster, famous for its smokehouse kippers and picturesque harbour. This walk hugs the grassy banks of the shoreline opening up to views of the dramatic, medieval ruins of Dunstanburgh castle 🏰 continuing around towards Embleton Bay, the castle cliffs are breathtaking and home to a variety of sea birds 🦅 We then follow the trail passed the golf course and through farmland back to the trail head.
As always for our little social we’ll stop for refreshments afterwards ☕️
The @thejollyfisherman is lush but often difficult to get a table as a group so will depend on numbers & I’ll book somewhere nearer the time. If the weathers on our side we could always grab a coffee and sit outside at @piperspitch & try their famous kipper in a bun or their Auchtermuchty (haggis, bacon & chilli jam) 😜

🐶 Furry friends welcome but must be kept on leads as livestock along the route
