Join us for a fun-filled day of creativity and excitement at This n’ That Creative Studio’s One-Day Summer Camp! Designed for kids ages 7-12, our camp offers a variety of engaging and hands-on projects that will inspire young artists and makers. Here’s a glimpse of the exciting activities we have planned:
Acrylic Paint Pouring
Dive into the vibrant world of acrylic paint pouring! Campers will learn how to create stunning abstract artworks by pouring and swirling colorful paints on canvas. Each child will discover the joy of watching colors blend and flow to create unique, one-of-a-kind designs.
Succulent Planting
Get your hands dirty with our succulent planting workshop. Campers will choose from a variety of succulent plants and decorate their own pots. They’ll learn about plant care and the importance of nature, while creating a mini garden to brighten up their space.
Sensory Bottle Making
Explore the calming effects of sensory bottles. Using glitter, beads, and other fun materials, campers will design their own sensory bottles. These bottles are not only beautiful but also a great tool for relaxation and focus.
Sand Art
Create mesmerizing sand art designs! Campers will fill bottles and containers with layers of colorful sand, forming intricate patterns and landscapes. This activity encourages creativity and fine motor skills as kids experiment with different color combinations and designs.
Oobleck and Resin Jewelry Making
Experience double the fun! First, campers will make oobleck, a fascinating non-Newtonian fluid that’s both a liquid and a solid. It’s a hands-on science experiment that’s messy and fun! Then, they’ll switch gears to create stunning resin jewelry. Campers will design their own pendants and charms, embedding them with tiny treasures like glitter, beads, and mini seashells.
