Crafty Kids Family Crafting Day returns for 2025 with a bang! Join us for Valentines Day crafts and cookie decorating in our newly renovated Visitors Center. For the kids, we have make-your-own valentines, painted jewelry boxes, and cute heart crafts. For the grownups (or maybe even ambitious big kids) we have origami and wintertime still life painting! If the preplanned crafts aren’t for you, you can make whatever you can imagine using our craft supplies Light instruction is offered, creativity is encouraged.
From internationally recognized Hudson River School painters to dedicated hobbyists who shared their love of the arts with their children, Clermont has always been home to creative people. We continue the tradition with Crafty Kids! Inspired by our past, Crafty Kids grew from a pandemic-era need for community arts programing. Through online tutorials and socially distanced events, dozens of children and their grownups we able to destress and create together during a time of uncertainty. We are excited to continue to offer arts programing to children and their grownups throughout the year, drawing inspiration from seasonal events and local history!
Please note: The cost of the event is $5 per person. Please be prepared to pay at the door. This is a Family Program; all children must be accompanied by an adult and all adults must be accompanied by a child.
