Participants will learn the fundamentals of crochet techniques through projects while aquiring essential skills in bookkeeping that will manage your small business effectivley.
Juliann Scott owner of Juliann Murray Bookkeeping & Web Development will lead the monthly workshops centered around the art of crocheting.
Juliann transformed her crochet hobby into the business, Yarn Over Time Designs. Juliann enjoys creating wearable art such as purses, bags, sweaters, hats, and more. Juliann has designed a number of workshops to help small local businesses with understanding the importance of keeping business books up to date, what bookkeeping workflow should consist of, what to look at to determine pricing, and budgeting basics.
Juliann creates bookkeeping solutions using her 27 years of software engineering experience and love for data. She offers both one time services to get local business set up on Quickbooks online and on going services to keep the books up to date.
This workshop will meet monthly during Interwovens' "Street Beat Salon" Series. Meet other artists, learn, and talk about the ongoing struggles of being a creative business, learn a new skill but most important - learn how to take care of your creative business.
