🎂 This is part of a series of events to celebrate our first 10 years of sharing (and caring!) at the Edinburgh Tool Library. We're so grateful to have all kinds of makers walk through our doors over the past decade, from fine furniture makers to those at the start of their journey. Here's to many more years of inspiration and creativity!
ABOUT THE MAKER
Anna Nichols specialises as a fine furniture maker and wood turner based in Edinburgh. Anna's passion for woodwork began at age 17 when she crafted her first rocking chair, and after studying 3D Design and Furniture Making at Northumbria University, she spent eight years in the architectural industry designing commercial interiors and steelwork. She later honed her fine furniture-making skills in Oxfordshire before joining Real Wood Studios in the Scottish Borders. Since 2014, Anna has been based in Edinburgh, where she designs bespoke furniture and teaches woodworking and woodturning classes at the Edinburgh Open Workshop in Leith.
While this is a fundraising event, we want to remove financial barriers to our 10th birthday events, so to make paid events more accessible we also have a sliding scale donation option, where you can choose what you pay based on your personal circumstances.
