A Witches Ladder Workshop.
A witch's ladder, also known as a "rope and feathers" or "witches' rosary," is a practice in folk magic or witchcraft, typically made from knotted cord or hair, used to bind intentions into a talismanic object, similar to a rosary. Each knot or charm is imbued with a specific intention or magical purpose, and the number and nature of these elements vary depending on the desired outcome of the spell. Examples of uses: Counting tool: Feathers or beads can be moved along the cord to keep track of repetitions during spell work. Goal setting: Some practitioners use witch's ladders to bind their goals and intentions, and leave them until they fall apart naturally. Spell work: Each knot or charm can represent a specific aspect of the spell, and the overall ladder becomes a talisman for the desired outcome.
Join us for a fun and interesting afternoon of magical mayhem making your very own witches Ladder to be used or to represent your own needs. You will learn how to use your ladder and some history behind them.
Investment is £35 to include tuition, materials, refreshments and a selection of cakes and biscuits. Limited numbers as always so a £20 non-refundable deposit holds your place.
For these events to take place there needs to be a minimum amount of people. If the minimum amount of people is not reached then the organisers reserve the right to cancel the event. All monies paid will be refunded.
Divine Spark Spiritual Events reserves the right to use any photography/video taken at any event organised by Divine Spark Spiritual Events, without the expressed written permission of those included with the photography/video. We may use the photography/video in publications or other media material produced including, but not limited to brochures, invitations, websites, including facebook.
Any person desiring not to have their photo taken must make there objection clear on the day.
If event is cancelled with less than 48 hrs notice then full amount is payable please.
