About this Event
Why is it so hard to plan for our futures? And what can we learn from the science of future thinking?
Get your future self in focus and join us for a fun-filled family event where art and science meet. Learn about the science of future thinking while children craft their own future selves with Art Buds.
For children:
· Gather round for our future-focused story time
· Craft, draw, or collage your own future self
For parents:
· Find out why our future selves can feel like strangers
· Test out our innovative future visualisation tool
· Learn a positive approach for long-term planning
· Use your connection with your future self to plan for your financial future
Art and science come together at this free future thinking event in partnership with the University of Edinburgh and Aegon UK, bringing research to life as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science.
