The first of 6 free craft workshops running at the Eco-Hub this term. This session will be on cyanotype exposure printing!
About this Event

Join us for an eco-friendly craft session! You are invited to bring along items you want to upcycle with cyanotype sun exposure printing (see examples below). During the workshop you will arrange different natural objects (flowers, plants), images and phrases on negative film onto the items to create a pattern. We will supply smaller pieces of fabric for printing however you are also encouraged to bring your own white clothes, fabric and any other items to upcycle. Sun exposure (weather dependent) or a UV lamp will develop the patterns onto the upcycled objects.

No experience is needed, just enthusiasm and willingness to learn! Tea and Coffee will be available to purchase on the day for 50p a cup.

This workshop is for staff, students and the wider Glagsow community!

Event Information:

The event will take place in Room 206 on Level 2 of the Boyd Orr Building (Previously the Piccolino Cafe). You can find directions here. The workshop takes place from 3PM -6PM.
