Inspired by the exhibition Amanda McCavour: Bright Little Day Stars, join us for a conversation about craft in America. Grab a cocktail and a seat as Carol Sauvion, executive producer and director of the Peabody Award-winning and Emmy Award-nominated PBS series Craft in America; Harriett Green, former visual arts director of the S.C. Arts Commission (1992-2021) and current visual arts consultant; and CMA Director of Art and Learning Jackie Adams discuss America's rich landscape of craft artists who blend history with living practice. Plus Sauvion and Green share special projects they have underway. Cocktail hour at 6:00 p.m. Talk at 6:30 p.m.
Free with membership or admission. Priority registration for members only through Friday, July 15.
