Macrame is the art of tying decorative knots by hand, weaving threads or cords into simple or intricate knots. The word "Macrame" itself is French and means knot. It has ancient origins, used in practical applications like fishing nets and horse reins. In recent times, Macrame has gained popularity as an art form for creating decorative items such as wall hangings, plant hangers, and curtains.
Join this fantastic Macrame Plant Hanger workshop led by our experienced instructor, where you'll learn the art of knotting cords to create beautiful and functional plant hangers; explore the basic techniques of macrame and learn to craft different patterns to decorate and support your indoor plants.
Your instructor, Tamara will guide you through the process step by step, providing personalized assistance to ensure that you create a beautiful plant hanger that you'll be proud to display in your home!
All materials will be provided for creating your plant hanger, and each participant will also receive a glass of wine upon arrival (water will be offered to minors). Limited availability is offered to ensure a personalized and intimate experience.
Who is this for: Recommended for ages 12 and above, this workshop is perfect for anyone new to macrame and want to explore their creative side. No prior experience is needed—just a desire to learn and have fun!
