Something quite unique in the crafting field.We're open between 10.30 and 4.00 but you can come when it suits you and stay as long as you wish - all for £5.00.
There are a variety of crafts on offer so you can learn something new or bring your own craft along for a friendly chat.
Examples of crafts covered:
- dressmaking
- wood burning
- crochet
- paper crafts, includes everything made from paper or tissue: cards, paper decorations, crepe paper flowers
- bead crafts
- knitting
- needle felting
- embroidery
- painting: charcoal, pastels, water colour or oil
Any craft where help may be required can be asked for so I can arrange a demonstration or help to make.
Just come in, say what you want to do or let me know what is wanted as I really do have so much stuff, loads of which has been donated.
I have many tools to make wire worked jewellery, bead looms and many similar items, we share what we know, so not everyone is skilled but encouragement comes with all our members, if we know anything we share our knowledge.
The idea is to encourage new things people may wish to start, but carrying too much every week is not going to be easy for me.
I say, if you have any craft that is portable is ideal, so bring in what interests you, only we do have many people each has skills others don’t!
I have finally got the hang of Tunisian Crochet, thanks to one of our amazing group!
Drinks are available to purchase from behind the bar, Latte, Cappuccino, chocomilk, tea, coffee or hot chocolate, none of these are over £2 and after lunch time if you wish to have something stronger it is available. We have even had contact for hot or cold meals to be delivered if we want!
