QUO CONNECTION • Quo Connection are the definitive tribute to rock giants Status Quo. Formed by ex-Status Quo drummer John Coghlan, the band has existed for twenty-five years in various forms, playing their final gig with John on September 24th, 2022 - quite aptly at Butlins in Minehead where the Quo story first began. In answer to overwhelming support, Mick Hughes, Rick Chase, Pete Mace and Russ Chadd reformed under the name Quo Connection, beginning the next chapter for the band and carrying on the legacy of Status Quo and John Coghlan. Their ‘connection’ through decades of touring with John, puts them as close to the real thing as any Quo fan could wish for - and stamps authenticity and approval as the reputable sound of classic 70’s Quo. Big hits like ‘Caroline’, ‘Down, Down’, ‘Rockin’ All Over the World’, ‘Whatever You Want’ and ‘Paper Plane’ are supplemented by some incredible album tracks from those early years.
