The course will teach you the skills, knowledge and understanding, so that you can use a shotgun confidently and most importantly safely.

𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐠𝐮𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. The Police often ask for proof of shooting lessons or attendance on a course before issuing a shotgun licence. The course is designed to fulfil this criteria and is underwritten by the National Governing Body (the CPSA).
The course is also suitable for anyone learning Clay Target Shooting as their chosen skill for the 𝐃𝐮𝐤𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐡 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞.
