Brian spent 23 years as a Revenue Agent, auditing Schedule C businesses, partnerships, small corporations, and trusts. He also assisted taxpayers directly and traveled to IRS service centers to hand-select returns for audit. In his final 10 years, he served as an Appeals Officer, negotiating unagreed audits nationwide and working to resolve cases before they reached tax court. His background also includes Nonfiler projects with the IRS Collection Division, offshore hidden-income cases, and abusive tax shelter investigations.
