This comprehensive CPR course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
This course is good for those who have never taken a CPR course and for those that are renewing their card. Class provided by NHCPR. The American Heart Assn BLS Provider e-Card you receive will be valid for 2 years.
This Basic Life Support CPR/AED course was previously called the Healthcare Provider course.
Course Content:
1 and 2 rescuer CPR for Adults, children, and Infant
Conscious and Unconscious Choking for victims of all ages
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use and special considerations
Rescue Breathing, Bag Valve Masks, and Advanced Airways
Course Format: Classroom-based (instructor and video, with skills conducted throughout)
This class will run from 10:30am to 2pm. It is a 3 hour long course with a short break for complimentary light refreshments.
Cost: $99 for all, AMTA members, non-members and students
NOTE: For EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics: This course is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) and provides 2.50 Basic Continuing Education Hours (CEHs).
