Registration Required, Seats Limited to 10 Students per Class
All three dates will be Deaf / Heard of Hearing Accessible through the use of Live Captioning for all instructors, and closed captions on video portions. Other accommodations can be made as needed, please just mention what you need during enrollment.

Tailored specifically for the Atlanta Fan Convention community this course includes a complete AHA Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, and AED certification (Adult, Child and Infants) paired with wraparound interactive discussion specific to the unique situations faced by those who staff and attend fan conventions in the Greater Atlanta Community.
Taught by professional prehospital providers with local knowledge and experience who are also veterans of the southeast convention circuit, this course enhances the base knowledge and proficiencies in the AHA curriculum with additional information and considerations unique to these environments.
The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
Who should take this course?
Convention volunteers, paid convention staff, convention vendors, or regular convention attendees with little or no medical training who need a course completion card to meet employment, regulatory, or insurance requirements, or who want to be prepared to respond when an emergency occurs on and off the convention floor.
AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Includes:
First aid basics
Medical emergencies
Injury emergencies
Environmental emergencies
Preventing illness and injury
Adult CPR and AED use
Relief of choking techniques
Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies (naloxone / "Narcan" training)
Optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR

Upon successful completion, participants will receive:
