EVENT DESCRIPTIONLet’s embark on a life-saving journey with our comprehensive First Aid and/or CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation)/AED (Automated External Defibrillation) Workshop, co-organised with SG Red Cross! These workshops equip you with the foundation to administer aid at needed times. Immerse yourself in the world of CPR to learn how to respond to cardiac emergencies. Come join us as we delve into the principles of First Aid and/or CPR/AED and you’d be ready to be an expert to treat anyone!
PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS
First Aid Workshop (9am - 1pm):
Learn to perform first aid treatment at home or at workplaces
Understand common medical conditions that requires treating
Perform improvised techniques to carry casualties
Bento Lunch (1pm - 2pm)
CPR/AED Workshop (2pm - 6pm):
Learn how to perform CPF and use an AED
Certification with 2 years validity upon successful completion of the course
NOTE:
* A minimum of 8 people is required to start the course
* Suitable for participants aged 13 and above.
* Registration closes on 25 May 2024.
FEES (Subsidised):
FULL day workshop (First Aid + CPR/AED):
$110 (Member) | $120 (NTU Alumni/Undergraduate) | $130 (Non-member)
CPR/AED only: $90 for ALL participants.
ABOUT NTU Red Cross Alumni Association (NTU Red Cross AA)
NTU Red Cross Alumni Association (RCAA) consists of former members from Red Cross Humanitarian Network and Red Cross of the NTU Chapters. RCAA aims to reach out to alumni and promote continued volunteerism even after their graduation. The association engages in volunteering activities to serve the community and provides support to the Management Committee and student members of NTU Chapters through mentoring and sharing of experience. It also organises networking and social events for alumni and student members of NTU Chapters to promote a sense of belonging and togetherness.
