The Cozy Christmas project is organized by the Rosary Alumnae Association. We collect warm winter items for the clients of the Dominican Literacy Center in Aurora. The Dominican Literacy Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching English and citizenship to the immigrant community. Both the Literacy Center and Rosary High School are sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Illinois.
We will collect items at school. Look for the gift wrapped box near the office.
All warm winter items for children, men and women are welcome. Handmade or store-bought. Gloves, socks, hats, scarves, mittens, blankets, jackets and more.
Rosary's Knitting & Crocheting Club is hard at work creating items to donate, too.
Winter donations will be accepted in place of an admission fee at the Royals Varsity Basketball vs Plano on December 4.
We also created an Amazon WishList of items for those who would like to donate online instead.
