About this Event

No plans to cozy up this holiday season? Problem solved!

Are you looking to foster your ability to say yes to the things you want and no to the things you do not want? Do you need to practice asking for things in a safe and nurturing container? Then this Christmas Cuddle Event is for you!

Cuddle Event is a structured workshop where one of the first and most important rules is: You never have to cuddle anybody, ever, if you do not want to. It is a wonderful social phenomenon that will take you on a journey of self-discovery alongside other humans who are learning an elevated way of interacting with their world—especially during the sometimes-stressful holiday season.

The evening starts with a series of playful icebreakers to help set a safe, warm tone and introduce you to the 11 Rules of Cuddling (the foundation of consent and connection). You will then have an open session to practice your skills.

Things that have happened during open session include hugs, gentle snuggling, dancing, reading, board games, deep eye-gazing, relaxing naps, spooning, sharing holiday traditions, and lots of stimulating conversation.

All these moments have led to wonderful friendships developing for some and a wonderful, supportive community that keeps coming to cuddle events, both here and at other events found throughout the world.

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR:
Tommy “Captain Cuddles” Seda has always followed the philosophy he learned as a teen of “learn one, do one, teach one”. With that motto driving him, he has been teaching and facilitating programs that range from one hour workshops to summer long camps. He has held certifications as instructor with several private and government organizations. Currently his passion for teaching is focused on cuddle parties where he is a facilitator involved in the Cuddle Party Inc training program.
