Coyote Island is hitting The Sweet Flower Stage for the first time as part of The Shadow Magic Tour, bringing a fresh mix of reggae, indie rock, global rhythms, and good vibes. Fronted by Mike O’Hehir, the band’s sound lands somewhere between a sunrise set and a late-night drive—think Khruangbin meets Vampire Weekend with a little extra soul. Their latest track “Trust the Path” (with The Hip Abduction) is already soundtracking the summer, and we’re stoked to bring that energy to the backyard.Opening the night is Cherokee Social, a duo known for their raw, rhythmic blend of blues guitar, pop songwriting, and indigenous-influenced percussion. With frontman Julian Navarro’s deep roots in music and Alex Creighton’s sharp guitar work, their live shows build community as much as they bring the heat.
