Description
Whether you are new to town or a lifelong resident, you'll want to save the date to get the inside scoop on some of the iconic recipes that make the Fort Worth restaurant scene so vibrant. In her third book featuring Fort Worth, Celestina, a third generation native of Fort Worth, reveals home versions of some of the city's most beloved dishes ranging from biscuits and gravy to paella. Spend a little time exploring the food scene - both past and present - as Chef Jon Bonnell shows you how to make a smoked fish dip; a rich corn chowder; his version of shrimp and grits; and everyone's favorite chocolate cake. You'll enjoy sampling each dish as you sit back and relax.
For ages 18 & up. 21 or older? You'll enjoy a glass of wine paired with your meal.
Cowtown Comfort: Fort Worth Recipes, Places, and Food Traditions by Celestina Blok will be for sale on the night of class.
