About this Event
Town Conversations is a series of 5 place-based gatherings of the creative and cultural sectors on the Isle of Wight, and is a programme by Creative Island.
The ambition is to speak about and listen to the particular challenges and opportunities that we all face, to explore collaborative opportunities, share information and network with like-minded people.
For the next 6 Town Conversations, we're looking to speak about how we strengthen our sense of belonging, which has been a common theme across our established networks: Ryde, Newport, Cowes, West Wight and Bay to Bay and Ventnor. This themed discussion began in Ryde in September 2025, continued in Ventnor in October, West Wight in November and now comes to Cowes. We’re inviting everyone connected to the creative and cultural life of the area - artists, makers, performers, community organisers, and local partners - to come together, share stories of pride and challenge, and explore how we can collectively shape the future of our towns.
You can catch up on the previous Cowes Town Conversations here.
