Learn about the founding of the Cowboys of Color Rodeo along with African American Western legends. The Cowboys of Color Rodeo is the largest multicultural rodeo in the world. Children of founder Cleo Hearns, who manage the rodeo, will join us.
Designed to “educate while it entertains,” the rodeo highlights the contributions that Native, Hispanic, European and African Americans made to the settling of the Old West while offering traditional competition.
