About this Event
Join us for the kick-off of the Cow Cruise Agricultural Coalition! The CCAC is a new community network bringing together Mid-Michigan farmers, educators, sustainability advocates, and autism professionals to co-create something truly unique.
The Mid-Michigan Cow Cruise is a nonprofit initiative connecting families to local farms and rural landscapes through a one-of-a-kind agricultural tourism experience. Along the way, weβre also raising awareness and understanding of autism in girls, supporting neurodivergent inclusion, and strengthening rural communities and economies.
The Coalition is the next step. This will be a cross-sector group designed to guide, shape, and expand this work so that it benefits farms, families, and communities alike.
This event is open to individuals and organizations who care about the future of agriculture, sustainability, and community inclusion, such as:
- Farmers & Agricultural Professionals: local farmers, farm market organizers, ag educators, 4-H/FFA leaders.
- Sustainability & Land Conservation Advocates: soil and water experts, land trusts, regenerative agriculture professionals.
- Autism & Neurodiversity Advocates: clinicians, teachers, nonprofits, parents, and advocates.
- Community & Business Partners : local businesses, tourism boards, civic leaders, and anyone invested in rural vitality.
Light refreshments from local farms will be provided.
