People impacted by COVID are a constituency base that can no longer be ignored. That's why Marked By COVID is coordinating the first COVID Victim’s Families and Survivors Lobby Days, with co-hosts Rami's Heart Covid-19 Memorial and Right to Health Action, along with partner groups such as Center for Popular Democracy Action, Cherish and Remember, COVID-19 HOPE Quilt & TOGETHER We Will Heal, COVID Grief Network, Covid Memorial Quilt, Rose River Memorial, Survivor Corps, and Young Widows and Widowers of Covid-19.
Together, we can advance a suite of policies centered around our needs and remind Members of Congress that even after the last vaccine shot is administered, the pandemic’s effects will be with us for the rest of our lives—especially the family members of the more than 605,000+ people lost and the individuals who are battling Long COVID.
Please sign up now for COVID Lobby Days from Monday, July 26 through Wednesday, July 28. Participants will receive support to secure and prepare for meetings with their elected officials as well as an invitation to our special kick-off events --virtually and in person. And most importantly, you'll be able to share your stories, ideas, and concerns directly with decision-makers to have the biggest possible impact in the fight for COVID justice.
