The trial against Olivia's r*pist, Bradley O'Reilly, has been adjourned until the 8th & 9th December at the Bendigo Magistrate's Court. We currently don't have full details on time but we expect to be there from 9.30am until 4.30pm. We're inviting supporters to attend to be a presence inside the court room and show the enormous public interest in this case. We may also arrange a solidarity vigil outside the courtroom.
Please arrive wearing court appropriate clothing. Smart, casual to business casual is expected. Please do not wear animal rights t-shirts. All those in attendance will be expected to act appropriately in the courtroom. This means staying quiet and respectful of the court process. This is an enormously sensitive and emotional matter. If you don't think you will be able to control your emotions while hearing evidence and being in the same room and O'Reilly, please choose to remain outside. Any disruptive behaviour in the courtroom may be dealt with harshly by police and security.
If there are enough people, we will hold a solidarity vigil outside with photos of Olivia. If you have a Free Olivia t-shirt, please bring it in preparation. Unfortunately, they will not be available to purchase on the day.
Bendigo is about 2 hours from Melbourne. It is accessible by train and by car. We encourage people to carpool from Melbourne.
Thank you all for continuing to stand up for Olivia
