About the Course
Have you ever wondered how to get a grant for your art project?
In this 2-part workshop, participants will learn everything required to find and apply for art and community grants available to residents of Toronto and throughout Ontario.
Attendees will learn where and how to source appropriate grants for their individual and/or group projects, how to sign up and navigate the granting organization’s unique application system, how to read and respond to program guidelines, and how to create work and budget plans that will highlight why your project deserves to be funded.
Participants will get the opportunity to ask questions and have their grant reviewed, as well as to learn more about the behind-the-scenes judging process used to determine a proposal’s eligibility and ultimate success.
We will walk through the entire grant writing process from start to finish, so that participants can learn to apply for their own project grants with knowledge and confidence!
