With the vibrant History of Mardi Gras exhibit up and the festive spirit in full swing, we’re thrilled to announce the Courir de Mardi Gras Mask-Making Workshop!Whether you’re preparing for a courir de Mardi Gras celebration, searching for a unique wall decoration, or simply indulging in some creative me-time, this workshop is perfect for you. Led by the Museum’s own Anna Alamond and Ashley Royer—two creative powerhouses, cosplayers, and art enthusiasts—this hands-on experience will guide you step by step through the art of crafting your very own mask. No experience is necessary to join the fun and immerse yourself in the rich traditions of Mardi Gras.
