About this Event
This is the first of a series of Tree Walks accross the country parks in Wrexham hosted by James from The Woodland Classroom. The bus will leave from Ty Pawb car park in the city centre at 9.30am, travelling to Alyn Waters country park. The tree walk will be from 10am - 12pm, with a chance to get a drink and snack from the cafe at the end of the walk, before the bus leaves Alyn Waters at 12.30pm to return to Ty Pawb for 1pm. All ages are encouraged to join. Even if your don't want to join in with the tree walk, hop on and spend 2 hours in the beautiful park of Alyn Waters! The bus service and tree walk are completely free, paid for by the Local Places For Nature grant from Welsh Government to provide those without transport the opportunity to acess our country parks. There are 14 seats available on the bus, please "purchase" a (free) ticket to confirm your place on the bus. Unfortunately once all tickets have been sold, we will be fully booked, but please email us to get information about more dates to other country parks. Depending on the event popularity, we can consider having a bigger bus or adding more event dates. Please email: [email protected] for more info and/or to report interest in future dates.
