Barnstormer is an imaginative, explosive, and utterly charming band that brings the roaring 20s to life. This dynamic 6 piece ensemble delivers a sound as rare as it is electrifying, blending banjo, piano, ukulele, kazoo, guitars, upright bass, clarinet, trumpet, drums, and soaring vocals.
Led by Vancouver-based recording artist Melanie Dekker, Barnstormer is powered by a crew of top-tier award-winning Canadian musicians, boasting a collective 300 years of collective experience. With world-class musicianship, effortless showmanship, and a touch of vintage magic, they transport audiences straight to the prohibition era—where the dance floors sizzled and the jazz was hot.
