Lucas Mason is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter from Niagara, Ontario. Hailing from a musical family, Lucas has been playing piano, guitar, and singing from a young age. Lucas first grabbed the attention of the music industry when a March 2024 video of him jumping on stage and performing with artist Zach Bryan went viral, amassing over 15 million views. His stage presence and musical talent left some wondering if it was a professionally staged event (It wasn’t). Since then, Lucas has been seizing the opportunity to grow his craft and showcase his original music on a wide variety of stages, including The Niagara Wine Festival, Hamilton Tiger-Cats Halftime Show, The Horseshoe Tavern, Cicada Fest, North Of Nowhere Music Festival, and Central Niagara, where he was the direct support for the James Barker Band. This summer, he will add Big Valley Jamboree and Misty City Music Festival to his already impressive resume. Lucas has always been attracted to the powerful storytelling aspect of country and folk music, and despite his youth, his lyrics reflect the authenticity of his lived experience. His influences include Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, Treaty Oak Revival, Bob Dylan, and Noah Kahan. Lucas released his debut EP, Almost 18, in January 2025 and was recently chosen as one of Front Porch Music’s Artists to Watch in 2025.

Fast-rising country singer-songwriter Jade Hilton is making waves with her new single “Dive Bar.” Fresh off standout performances at Boots and Hearts, Cavendish Beach Music Festival, Departure Festival, NXNE and CMAOntario Week, Jade has earned national media support from SiriusXM Canada, Global TV and CTV’s Etalk. She has also been named a finalist in the 2025 Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase and has received on-air support from SiriusXM Canada’s Top of the Country station. Inspired by Hilton’s first writing trip to East Nashville – and the unforgettable night watching Kacey Musgraves perform at an intimate venue – “Dive Bar” captures the blend of authenticity, charm and warmth that define Hilton’s sound. The lyrics embrace humility, simplicity and a deep sense of groundedness – something Hilton knows firsthand as a tennis pro by day and a heartfelt performer by night. Her own artistic clarity didn’t come easily. While working on music at home in Toronto, most of her collaborators leaned towards hip-hop and R&B, so Hilton started travelling to smaller towns and eventually Nashville to find her creative community. Landing showcases at the CCMA’s Country Music Week and the CMAOntario Awards weekend, as well as a spot on the famed Blue Jays Sessions, helped her refine her musical identity and reignite her confidence. Last year alone, she performed on over 100 stages across Canada and was named Songwriter of the Year at the Mississauga Music Awards. As a Chinese-Canadian artist in country music, Hilton is proud to be part of a new wave of diverse voices helping to shape the future of the genre. Her story is rooted in the legacy of her grandparents who immigrated to Canada and opened the beloved west-end Toronto Chinese restaurant Mr. Pongs, which welcomed guests for five decades. In a serendipitous full-circle moment, Hilton recorded her first album at a studio – housed in the very same building where her family once ran the restaurant.
