The Merchant Marine has underpinned US military and maritime power since the country's foundation, yet for the first time in history, it finds itself stripped of the resources necessary for its task. Amidst a resurgence of armed conflict around the world, please join Yorktown Institute for a discussion on the critical role of the Merchant Marine, its inability to meet the demands of national strategy, and the steps necessary to restore American power projection.
