A heart council to practice remembering our ancestral capacities to hold emergence and deeply listening in these stages of collapse.About this Event
We are so excited to sit in council with you! Here are a few things you will need to know before arriving:
- Please bring anything you will need to be comfortable sitting in the yurt for 4 hours. Blankets, pillows, backjacks, crafts, food, waterbottles, etc. There is heat in the yurt as well as a limited number of pillows and blankets for folks to use if they are unable to bring these items.
- Please bring items for our communal altar to honor your ancestors and any beings you feel hold medicine for this council, as well as offerings for the land we gather on.
- Note that parking on the land is extremely limited. We have about 10 parking spaces available. There are additional spots at the top of the driveway at the trailhead lot, but lock your vehicle and take valuable items with you, as break-ins have been known to occur in the past. Please carpool and use public transport as you're able!
- This is a donation based event. This is made possible by Tryon Life Community farm donating their event space to us, as well as hours of unpaid labor from the facilitators (Kiersten, Alyx, Sommer) who’ve organized this and are holding the container. Us facilitators believe that this container holds important medicine that should be accessible to all, regardless of your financial situation. However, reciprocity is needed for us space-holders to be resourced enough to continue offering this important work to our community. We are asking for a suggested donation of $10-$35. Nobody is turned away for lack of funds. You are wanted and needed here.
