Join us for this Could Bee Zine Workshop on the topic of Building Resilient Community-led Housing! We'll craft zine pages together exploring how we can build affordable housing for all, design for climate resilience, and foster networks of belonging and mutual aid in cooperative housing buildings. The results of this workshop will contribute to the planning process for Propolis Cooperative's first affordable, net zero housing development at 422/424 Tranquille Rd. Materials and supplies are provided (folks are welcome to bring their own materials and crafting projects too!). This is a free event, and everyone is welcome. The event runs from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Nov 26th in the Stirfront, 185 Royal Ave
This event is co-hosted by Propolis Cooperative Housing Society, the Kamloops Food Policy Council and the Kamloops Art Gallery.
About the Could Bee Workshop Series: A "could bee" is a work bee for the imagination! This workshop series is designed to engage our imaginations to deepen our work toward justice, climate resilience, and belonging. Stay tuned for more Could Bee events to be announced.
The Could Bee workshop series is a Climate Action project from Transition Kamloops' Climate Action Fest. We gratefully acknowledge funding support provided by the City of Kamloops.
