Couch Conversations is a friendly and inclusive community of UOW students. Strengthen your social connections at UOW, while developing your personal and professional skills.
Join our fun and informal sessions to connect with your fellow students from UOW. You can share experiences, enhance your communication skills, hear about tips and tricks for work, study and play, and learn about other cultures by chatting with students who have come from around the world.
Our conversations will also include topics surrounding key areas, experiences and tips we all can relate to such as how to find and maintain motivation, ideas to de-stress throughout your semester/trimester and even building those important relationships with your UOW community. We’re are all in this together and this is all about connection.

Walk-in attendance for for our on-campus sessions are also available, however, we are limited in how many participants we can fit into our space so be sure to secure your spot.
For week 5-13 of Autumn session, Couch Conversations will be located in the rooms below:
- Tuesday 12:30 - 1:30pm Building 19, Room G004 (19-G004)
- Friday 3:30-4:30pm Building 19, Room 2003 (19-2003)
Finding the rooms:
The most direct way to access these rooms is through the Building 19 North East Entrance (next to the McKinnon Lawn pond). Room 19-G004 is down the corridor on the left. To get to 19-2003, take the stairs to at the entrance up to Level 2 and the room will be in front of you.
The building 19 elevator is located at the East Entrance if this is more suitable to get to Level 2.
