Join Hiking Bob to get to know a key resource for all adventures in the outdoors.Colorado Trails Explorer (COTREX) is Colorado’s official trail guide app and website, created and maintained by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and a must have for any adventure -- hiking, skiing, camping or cycling!
Instead of using “crowd sourced” information that may not be accurate, all the trails in COTREX are submitted and vetted by the appropriate land manager.
In this short class, “Hiking Bob” Falcone will demonstrate how to use the basic functions of COTREX to explore and plan for your next adventure. He will also demonstrate how to use some of the more advanced features of this powerful app and website.
The app is available for FREE at both the Apple App Store and Android Play Store.
To get the most out of this workshop, attendees should download the app in advance.
