About this Event
“Living Flowers” is an immersive art exhibit in partnership with Baltimore Unity Hall (BUH) in celebration of the 5 year anniversary of TCRE’s first coloring book “Black Women are the Future.” What began as a way to address colorism for one young black girl in Louisiana has become a nationally recognized coloring book company with over 10,000 youth impacted across 5 countries.
In celebration of this anniversary, TCRE wants to honor those in our new home of Baltimore, MD who have personally inspired our founder, Naomi Winston, and so many others. TCRE’s greatest strength as an organization is the ability to build physical manifestations of community, to preserve history and authentic storytelling, and to make learning immersive and creative. We are honored to be creating more community centered educational tools, and even more so in Baltimore. We will have limited edition merchandise, coloring sheets, and an immersive art exhibit where you can once again, color outside the lines.
