Calling all mobile art! Before you read any further, if you are bringing wheels to the event, please make sure you read https://www.burningflipside.com/art/mutant-vehicles and register with the DMV.Have a cart that you would like to take to the event to provide participants with rides? Wanting to rent a cart and worried about “artifying” it because you don’t want to lose your deposit by making an oops? Worried that arting a cart is cost prohibitive? Just generally want ideas and inspiration to make your ride extra? We got you, boo!
Wednesday, May 1st, 6:30pm at Lloyd the Warehouse our darling Audrey Maker (and special guests) will be providing a basic “How To.” You’ll learn what fasteners work well (and what to steer clear of), and what materials are quick and easy to help turn your cart into something fabulous, etc. We will have a representative from our awesome Department of Mutant Vehicles (DMV) available to answer DMV related questions or concerns, and to cheer on your arting!
If you have a cart that you want to share, bring it for show and tell! If you have photos of a cart you've put together previously, feel free to bring photos and chat with people about it! The more brains the better, email [email protected] so we'll know to expect ya.
