About this Event
Create with company! University Theatre will open up the costume shop for students and the community to work on their personal projects.
Whether it's knitting, crocheting, sewing, drawing, painting, scrapbooking, or anything else creative! This is the perfect opportunity to unleash your creativity and connect with fellow craft enthusiasts.
Participants will have access to sewing machines, sergers, irons, cutting tables, and a variety of other tools to help complete your personal projects. Participants who want to use the sewing machines should have previous experience with sewing machines.
If you don’t have a craft to bring, small hand-embroidery kits and basic stitch instructions will be on hand so you can learn how to decorate with thread.
Event begins at start time and participants may leave at any point.
University Theatre staff can not teach individual crafts such as sewing, alterations, knitting, crochet to every participant - participants should have a basic understanding of their craft and the supplies to do the craft. Check out our Eventbrite for specific classes on sewing, makeup, painting, and more!
If you need a place to work on a costume or clothing, need help troubleshooting your project, or just want to craft with other students - this is your place!
Staff will be on-hand to answer questions and assist.
- Limited to 6 participants per section
