For the past 20 years, Captain Zorikh has been hosting "The Most Fun Costume Contest on the East Coast," bringing his unique brand of fast-paced, exciting costume and cosplay presentation and competition the the longest-running comic con in NYC!
This year, at the Big Apple Comic Con, the Kids' and All-Ages costume/cosplay contests will be run separately. In order to let the kids (age 15 and under) be on stage early in the day, we are holding their contest from 1PM - 1:30 PM. Then, to close the show, we will have the full two - hour block from 5 PM - 7 PM for the all-ages contest and photo shoot.
So come as your favorite character, hero, villain, or morally ambiguous, from comics, anime, video games, movies, TV , sci-fi-, fantasy, horror, pop culture, history, or make up your own!
The Table of Wonder and sponsored prizes will be available for both contests. We have some very special prizes lined up, and there will be enough for everyone in both contests to pick a prize.
There will be both a panel of judges to select a "top three" of prize winners, and the patent-pending "Captain Z Applause-o-Meter" to select the winning order for the rest.
