Costume-Con 43 will be held April 11th to 13th, 2025 at the Milwaukee Hilton City Center.
This is a convention about all types of Costumes! Ethnic, Steampunk, Reenacting, Theater, Anime, Movies, Television, Drag, Historical, Fantasy and everything else!
We welcome everyone who is interested in Costumes.
You do not have to be someone who has done this for a long time.
We welcome people who are starting out and want to learn more.
There will be panels about many topics, including where to find resources, materials, how to enter a costume contest, how to sew, and many more!
The theme is an unusual one for a Costume-Con. It is simply "Welcome to Wisconsin." Wisconsin was settled by several different Native American tribes. In the 1600s it was explored by the French. During the 1800s it was settled by many European countries. In the last 15 years other ethnic groups have called Wisconsin their home. And Steampunk, Anime, Reenacting, Theater and Drag communities have all increased. We will welcome all of these groups and communities and hope to have their outfits on display, as well as having members of these groups there to explain them.
It travels around North America.
It has not been in the Midwest for many years and it is not known when it will be back.
