About this Event
Often, as business leaders, we are so busy focusing on the day-to-day that we lose sight of the overall purpose of our business. This session will encourage you to look at your business through a different lens. We will focus on the importance of maintaining good vision in our business, seek to discover areas that have blind spots and assess whether we as business owners have any impairments that are preventing us from seeing well.
Vision, the most dominant of our senses, plays a critical role in every facet and stage of our lives. Most of us are fortunate to have good vision and can often take this for granted. If we live a long life, however, many of us will experience at least one eye condition that will require appropriate care. When an eye condition affects the visual system and its normal function, we recognise that a visual impairment has occurred. This condition affects our healthy ability to see things clearly and impacts our capacity to make good judgements. A fresh pair of eyes can provide new perspectives and ways of thinking that help us consider alternatives of how to tackle a situation. Input from other experienced business owners with different experiences can provide fresh ideas to ensure the business is on the right track. In the room, we facilitate this principle as business owners work together to exchange ideas - in effect, acting as each other’s executive board. This creates a dynamic, collaborative, highly productive environment where you are able to benefit from the knowledge and experience of other seasoned business owners.
We look forward to our special guest, Richard Harvey CEO of Sight Life and his team, challenging us on what it is like to live in a world without sight.
Join us on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 1:30 PM for an eye-opening discussion on the impact of losing your sight in the business world.
