About this Event
Venue: Committee Room 4, First Floor, Leeds Civic Hall
Faith groups are at the heart of their local communities and provide vital support that so many depend on, often going above and beyond to support local residents. The cost of living crisis has put further pressures on residents, meaning that sadly some have to choose between heating or eating. In Leeds we are fortunate to have a wide-ranging support sector from both statutory and third sector organisations that can offer support, be that short term or longer term support for residents in crisis. The Council’s Financial Inclusion Team will be running an awareness session for faith groups that will outline the support available in the city to support with the cost of living with the aim of giving local faith leaders, staff and volunteers the information they need to be able to signpost effectively to these local services.
PLEASE NOTE: Apologies but LCC can no longer provide refreshments due to budget constraints.
PLEASE NOTE: Use the Portland Crescent Entrance reporting to reception.
You can reserve your place on this session until Wednesday 22nd May at 12.30.
