Figure-drawing is a method of drawing where the artist studies & practices by observing a live model, and in our case the models are members of Austin's vibrant cosplay community! We invite anyone who wishes to model to show up in-costume, and we'll bring you into the rotation.
Our goal's to give artists interested in comics, animation, or illustration a low-barrier way to learn and practice -- while also giving cosplayers a way to show off their awesome work and to test out gear & practice poses in a calmer atmosphere than at conventions etc.
This is a FREE event to attend and all artists are welcome, of all ages and all levels of experience. No cost to draw but we do collect tip money to support our models! All donations go to them
